Winchester Hagans have been in and around ministry his entire life. Being born the second child of Rick & Kim Hagans ministry and missions was never an option for him. At a young age he spent his summers on on the summer Harvest Missions trips to Mexico and his afternoons being watched by the guys at His Place.
After a season of revelry, Christ brought Winchester back to Himself when Winchester was 18-19 years of age. At this point he went through an internship with Times Square Church in Manhattan, NY. After this he was able to live in the Republic of Ireland for a little over a year to work with a church in Cork where he did everything from being the janitor to preaching weekly at a nursing home.
After this time in Ireland Winchester returned to Alabama and spent a number of years working as the director of Harvest Missions. During this time he was able to take and lead trips to Mexico, Guatemala, India, Ireland, Peru, and various locations across the US.
When Winchester was 22 he became one of the Co-Pastors for a church plant where he was responsible for planning sermon series, writing out the bylaws and statement of doctrine, as well as a membership handbook. During this time Winchester shared the responsibility of preaching with his father, Rick, who he pastored with.
After spending 3 years with this church plant Winchester moved to Albany, Oregon to go through an Acts 29 Church Planting Residency program with the Shift Church.
In the summer of 2016 Winchester moved back to Alabama to complete a teaching degree at Alabama State University with the goal of using such a degree as a way to move to Brooklyn, NYC and plant a church in the Bed-Stuy or Park Slope communities.
He has resently completed his first book, 'LUX' which is now avalible on Amazon.
