"The Spirit of the Lord is upon Me, because He annointed Me to preach the gospel to the poor. He has sent Me to proclaim release to the captives, and recovery of sight to the blind, to set free those who are downtrodden, to proclaim the favorable year of the Lord." Luke 4:18-19Jesus began His ministry with these words and lived to see them fulfilled. It is our deepest prayer, highest goal, and greatest desire to see the same things happen in the ministry of Harvest Evangelism.

The ministry of Harvest Evangelism is based on one thing—love. We love God and are therefore committed to His command to love others. It is this love that takes us into bars, onto the streets, and into the churches. Anywhere there are hurt and lonely people desperate for answers, we go. The answer we share is based on the simple truth that God loves, and nothing can stand against such a force. While it may seem simple, you and I know—it works. Sharing and experiencing God's love has directed my ministry for the past twenty five years. Experience has shown me that godly love crosses all barriers whether ethnic, economic, or geographic: from small rural churches in the South to the crowded streets of New York City; from sharing with drug addicts, criminals and homosexuals to youth retreats and goodniks. My calling has always been to those unwanted or rejected as "unreachable" by others. Ministering throughout the United States and overseas—I have a special burden for the backslidden church member, the confused young Christian, and the desperate, lonely, lost people yet untouched by the gospel. It is our plan to reach out to these types of people through several different facets of our ministry. This will include (but not be limited to):
If you share this same burden for your church and community and feel that we may be of some service to you, please contact us. Together we can make a difference. | ||||||||||
