Objectives of the Harvest Thrift Store:
- To provide monies to help support the ongoing ministries of Harvest Evangelism.
- To grow in profitability to further God's kingdom through Harvest Evangelism.
- To be stewards of God's gifts and caretakers of the environment through recycling.
- To strengthen ties between Harvest Evangelism and the local community.
- To increase the visibility of Harvest Evangelism among local residents.
- To provide employment opportunities to people of the community and graduates of our programs.
Harvest Thrift Store will, along with the other ministries of Harvest Evangelism (Hosanna Home, Hope's Inn, His Place, Missions Experience and the Pulpit Ministry) continue to go out every day into the very heart of the gospel by reaching out to those who are the "least of these" as Jesus said of those in deepest need.
It is our goal to personalize the Gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ in Harvest Thrift Store as we see those who come in day after day to find a "bargain" and leave knowing a little more of the Savior who 'paid the price' for their souls.
Please feel free to visit us at 804 Columbus Parkway, Opelika, Alabama 36801 anytime to drop off donations and to shop in our clean, organized and beautiful store.
